Exemptions

Please click on the link below to obtain an idea of your possible exemptions on the CIMA Exemptions Database:

Click here to check the CIMA exemptions data base. [New window]

Please be aware that these Exemptions can not be confirmed until you have registered with CIMA and the appropriate department has assessed your qualifications

If CIMA currently do not hold information on their website of the course you currently hold, CIMA would need to investigate further by comparing your transcript with the CIMA syllabus. Once your registration has been completed and your documents received, a decision will be made based on the information you have sent.

Upon receipt of this CIMA will then send out a formal welcome letter, financial statement and your student resource file which contains full details of the CIMA syllabus.

CIMA must be in receipt of a certified copy of your highest level educational certificate before you may commence as a CIMA student.

Exemptions are granted only at the discretion of CIMA.

Attach and send your detailed CV / Resume ---here--- if you are not sure as to your entry level and need advice.
